Free treatment of advanced breast cancer

Who can participate in the study?

• patients diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer with a positive reaction for estrogen receptor (ER+) and/or a positive reaction for progesterone receptor (PgR+).
• without overexpression of the HER2 receptor
• who have not previously been treated with chemotherapy due to disease spread
• previous treatment with cytostatics as adjuvant or neoadjuvant therapy is allowed

Qualified study participants will receive free of charge:

• standard chemotherapy including treatment with paclitaxel supported by the investigational substance or placebo;
• continuous care from an experienced and qualified oncologist (member of the research team) related to the study;
• control laboratory tests, heart ECG, and radiological examinations;
• as well as reimbursement of travel expenses to the center.

Study schedule:

The study includes a 28-week phase of chemoimmunotherapy followed by 52 weeks of maintenance treatment and a subsequent observation phase lasting up to 18 weeks.
