Free treatment for locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer

The study has a positive opinion from the Bioethics Committee and is completely free of charge for participants.

Who can participate in the study?

• adult patients with histologically or cytologically confirmed breast cancer;
• with negative HER2 receptor;
• with positive hormonal receptor HR (ER and/or PgR);
• locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer who have received no more than 1 chemotherapy regimen related to advanced disease;
• after prior treatment with a taxane-containing regimen in neoadjuvant or adjuvant therapy;
• after prior treatment with an anthracycline-containing regimen in neoadjuvant, adjuvant therapy or metastatic treatment as indicated;
• after prior hormonal therapy with or without a CDK 4/6 inhibitor;
• patients with documented recurrence or disease progression.

Qualified study participants will receive free of charge:

• oral therapy with tesetaxel plus a reduced dose of capecitabine;
• continuous care from an experienced and qualified oncologist (member of the research team) related to the study;
• control laboratory tests, heart ECG, and radiological diagnostics;
• as well as reimbursement of travel costs to the center.

The above information will be detailed by the oncologist during the qualifying visit for the study and treatment.
